Round 1 of the XRS Poland Hot Race Series was hosted by Latina RC Racing this past weekend. The race was held in several nitro and electric off-road classes and in 1/8th Nitro Buggy it was Bartosz Zalewski with the overall TQ from Bartek Zambrzycki on the 2 spot. The first race after lock down did not disappoint as the two Barteks put on a fantastic display of car control and speed as they battled through the 45-minute main final. A flame out at Zambrzycki’s final stop would mean that he would just miss out on the win on his debut in 1/8th racing, as Bartosz Zalewski took the winning honours from Zambrzycki in 2nd and Tomasz Gadnicki in 3rd.
